Job Summary:

The Department of Otolaryngology at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking a part-time Clinical Assistant Professor (HS). The successful candidate will:

  • Coordinate residents and medical students in head and neck surgery.
  • Serve on institutional councils and committees focusing on head and neck cancer and other assignments.
  • Participate as a member of Department Executive Committee.
  • Attend required departmental conferences.
  • Conduct research that leads to publications and presentations.
  • Assist with department QA program.
  • Develop hospital based practice.
  • Participate with other department physicians in night call at all affiliate hospitals.
  • Provide attending coverage for adult and pediatric consultations.  

Required Qualifications:

  • New York State Medical Licensure.
  • Board Certified Otolaryngologist.
  • Graduate of an ACGME-approved residency program.
  • Fellowship trained in head-and-neck surgery.
