Job Summary: |
The School of Graduate Studies at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking a full-time Senior Staff Assistant / Manager of Career and Professional Development. The Manager of Career and Professional Development provides personalized and general career services to biomedical PhD students and postdoctoral researchers. These services include career coaching and counseling, professional developments workshops, internships, networking events, and employer outreach. The Manager will also design and implement methods to track career outcomes of PhD students and postdoctoral researchers. Overall, the role of Manager of Career and Professional Development will be critical in supporting trainees to hone the necessary skills to succeed in their desired career paths and secure job placement.
