Job Summary:

The Department of Neurology at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking a part-time General Neurologist (Headache Specialist) / Clinical Assistant Professor (HS). The successful candidate will:

  • Provide four general neurology clinic sessions, treating both general neurology and headache patients.
  • Assume the role of clinic director, overseeing the operations of the outpatient clinic, supervision of faculty and residents, and will be responsible for performance improvement.
  • Be a full member of the department and the university as a whole, including University Hospital at Downstate, and be expected to participate actively and fully in undergraduate medical education and graduate medical education, as well as participating in committees (departmental and university). 

Required Qualifications:

  • Medical Doctor Degree.
  • New York State Medical Licensure.
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible.
