Job Summary:

The School of Public Health at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking a full-time Professor / Associate Professor (12-MO), Tenure-Track. The successful candidate will:
- Have a primary appointment in the Department of Community Health Sciences or Epidemiology and Biostatistics.
- Contribute to building and maintaining a collegial community of scholars and educators aligned with our school's values and commitment to health equity and social justice.
- Contribute to supporting the growth of both the School of Public Health and the Translational Program of Health disparities Research Training (TRANSPORT), a research endowment grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
- Support the professional growth of students, postdoctoral trainees, and early-stage faculty, including leadership in the planning and implementation of programs to support the success of TRANSPORT trainees.
