Job Summary:

The College of Nursing at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking a full-time Lecturer (12MO) / Research and Evaluation Coordinator. The successful candidate's duties will include:

  • Report to the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, Research, and Evaluation.
  • Support to the continuous measurement and evaluation at the College of Nursing:
    • Design and maintain data repositories.
    • Enter, manage, and analyze data related to the programs of study, learning and student outcomes, and accreditation purposes.
    • Create and update data dashboards.
  • Support students and faculty in quantitative data management and analytics.
    • Facilitate faculty and DNP students research projects by providing quantitative data related-support.
    • Teach biostatistics courses at the CON.
  • Support the mission of the College of Nursing and Downstate Health Sciences University.
  • Orient and maintain current knowledge related to agency/clinical policies and procedures. 

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Biostatistics or related area in evaluation and measurement.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Data management and analysis skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience teaching biostatistics.

Commensurate with experience and qualifications
