Job Summary:

The Department of Hospital Administration at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking a full-time Executive Assistant / TH Assistant Administrator. Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer, the successful candidate will:
- Organize meetings, gather and distribute related materials as needed
- Work collaboratively with senior management staff/providers on special projects, program planning
- Utilize a systems perspective to coordinate and monitor the daily operations of the office of the Chief Strategy Officer and Business Development Managers
- Collect and organize data, statistical reports to present to various internal and external committees
- Collect research, market data, and assist in developing findings and program recommendations
- Maintain an inventory of contracts and requisitions; assist in drafting and obtaining signatures
- Conduct fact checking, develop and maintain all Department communications
- Follow up with maintenance and distribution of all communications materials
- Attend meetings; capture major takeaways and work with senior management to ensure follow-up
- Develop and maintain an inventory of special projects in which the Chief Strategy Officer is especially interested and/or for which their awareness and involvement is essential
- Work with senior management to align actions, communications in support of agreed upon goals
- Ensure that the Chief Strategy Officer’s and Business Development managers’ needs are conveyed; that progress is being made in a timely manner, and that any demands on their schedules are understood and agreed upon
- Perform other duties as assigned
