Job Summary:

The Department of Nursing at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking a part-time/hourly TH Staff Assistant 2, Emergency Room (Evenings). The successful candidate will: 

• Greet employees, patients, and visitors entering University Hospital of Brooklyn (UHB).
• Check temperatures of all employees, visitors, patients, and others entering UHB.
• Electronically record the temperature of all visitors in UHB's database.
• Escort patients to their respective destinations for treatment and/or service.
• Use HealthBridge (an electronic medical record system), monitoring patient movement within the hospital.

Required Qualifications:

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School diploma preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge a plus.

Work Schedule:

Variable Days; 4:00pm to 12:00am (Evenings)

Commensurate with experience and qualifications
