Job Summary:

The Department of Radiology at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking a full-time fellowship-trained Vascular/Interventional Radiologist. The successful candidate will: 

  • Develop grant programs for carotid and aortic stent graft program, and work jointly with vascular surgeons.
  • Teach and supervise residents.
  • Conduct educational lectures and seminars.
  • Participate in interdepartmental conferences.
  • Participate in scholarly activities as outlined by the radiology department.

Required Qualifications:

  • New York State Medical License. 
  • Board certified in Diagnostic Radiology. 
  • Fellowship in Vascular/Interventional Radiology. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience. 
  • ABR - CAQ in Vascular/Interventional Radiology (or eligible). 

Work Schedule:

 Monday to Sunday; Variable Hours

*(Participation in night and weekend coverage may be required, to be determined by the Chair.)

Salary Range:

Commensurate with experience and qualifications
