Job Summary:

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking a full-time Attending Physician / Clinical Assistant Professor (TCL). The successful candidate will:

  • Include the provision of clinical, academic and research related services in the department.
  • Be accountable for providing services on an inpatient and ambulatory care basis.
  • Be required to supervise the residents in the Labor and Delivery Suite on a scheduled on-call basis, which will consist of three 16-hour workday sessions and one 24-hour weekend session on a monthly basis.
  • Be accountable for teaching and lecturing to the residents and medical students within the department.
  • Be required to participate in the department's lecture series, teaching rounds and other assigned academic tasks.
  • Be accountable for being actively involved in the department's research initiatives. 

Required Qualifications:

  • New York State Licensure to practice medicine.
  • Board Eligible/Board Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist.
