Job Summary:

The Department of Health Policy and Management in the School of Public Health at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking a full-time Assistant Professor (12MO). The successful candidate will:

  • Bring both the expertise and experiences required to provide leadership in the development of program and coursework in health administration at both the Masters and Doctoral levels; specific areas of interest include health administration, management, and/or financing.
  • Bring a demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching, including an interest in non-traditional teaching such as online, certificate, or executive training.

Required Qualifications:

  • Doctoral Degree (PhD, MD, JD, etc.)
  • Demonstrate the ability to secure extramural funding, provide evidence of a commitment to diversity in the scholarship, teaching and service.
  • Have familiarity with the CAHME and competency requirements for Masters in Health Administration.
