Job Summary:

The Department of Human Resources at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking a full-time Recruiting Coordinator for an onsite temporary assignment.

The successful candidate will:
• Provide administrative support to the Talent Acquisition team
• Assist with recruitment activities such as job postings and creating offer letters and documentation
• Create and run reports
• Assist with Talent Acquisition projects
• Schedule meetings
• Perform accurate and timely completion, delivery, and communication of assignments
• Resolve employee and business queries
• Establish working relationships with key HR stakeholders and external vendors
• Escalate issues appropriately when required
• Talent Acquisition projects, initiatives, and other administrative duties as required

Required Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s Degree is required
• 2+ years of Recruitment or HR experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Applicant tracking (ATS) experience
• Ability to manage multiple tasks/high volume/short turnaround; strong organizational skillset
• Tech savvy and very strong computer skills, including outstanding Excel skillset
• Outstanding communication and customer service skills, including professional and engaging phone etiquette
• A strong sense of urgency and ability to follow up

Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday: 9am to 5pm

Commensurate with experience and qualifications
